The Joker

When you don’t have the connecting card in your hand, but have the card after that, use a Joker to "bury the hole". Remember, you must have the next connecting card to use a Joker.

Ex. With 7 at the center, if you have a joker and the 9, you can use the Joker to place the 9 on the table.

There is one missing card between 7 and 9, and a Joker can be used.

Ex. There are two missing cards between 7 and 10, so a Joker can't be used.

When a Joker is placed on the table, the Joker will automatically be replaced by the proper connecting card. In return, the player that had the proper card has the option of taking the Joker and using it in their hand.

A player cannot finish their hand and win if a Joker is the last card in their hand, so be careful when taking a Joker!

Tunneling

The standard order of putting down cards is, starting from 7,[6>5>4>3>2>A] or [8>9>10>J>Q>K], but after[6>5>4>3>2>A]has been completed a tunnel is formed, and a King can be placed on the table, next to the Ace. Conversely, after[8>9>10>J>Q>K] is completed, an Ace can be placed on the table next to the King.

However, if an Ace is placed next to the King, cards can no longer be connected in the [6>5>4>3>2>A]order.
Conversely, if a King is placed next to an Ace, cards can no longer be put down in the[8>9>10>J>Q>K]order.
